AUDI WITH LAMBORGHINI'S SOUL

Inspired by the success of the R10, the super champion of 24 Hours of Le Mans, Audi entered the world of super sports cars with R8.

Initially only used a V8 FSI (direct fuel injection), 4.2-liter, 430 hp and 316,8 lb-ft of torque. With it, driver of R8 goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 s and top speed of 187 mph. To give a more devilish soul, Audi searched the Lamborghini, owned by VW, the Gallardo's V10. The V10 FSI is 5.2 liters, 525 bhp and 390,6 lb-ft of torque, so it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7s and top speed of 196 mph. The gearbox is R tronic ® six-speed (automatic sequential).

Both versions use the quattro ® all-wheel. For handling is phenomenal, the car appears to be on train track in any condition of the floor. To assist in this task is a spoiler that opens, at the back, when the R8 is required.

The interior is nicely finished, with all sophistication expected of Audi. Among other comfort features highlight is the Audi Parking System Plus. The system has a camera and graphics to help the driver. Goodbye wheels grated. 

Externally the V8 and V10 are identical. What differentiates one from the other version is the exhaust. In the V8 are two outputs in pairs, the V10 two outputs are huge and oval. Logically, V10 has a logo to identifying. They are located on the sides just above the front wheels. 

The price R$ 700 000.00 in Brazil. If buy a car in this price is a wise decision, purchase the R8 is. You have the performance of a Lamborghini with probably more comfort and a half the price. 

 The problem is that Lamborghini is Lamborghini.
